SUMMARY

Like businesses, non-profits need to have a succession plan in place to ensure
sustainability and continual leadership. Given that Baby Boomers are retiring at the rate
of 10,000/day, succession planning is more important than ever. In this workshop,
participants will explore the importance and rationale for succession planning and learn
how to construct one for their own agency.

ABOUT THE PRESENTER:

Sarah Lange, MSW

Sarah Lange is Principal & Founder of New Era, a consulting firm focused on helping nonprofits raise more money, build better boards, chart a course for an exciting future and strengthen their communications program. Sarah is known and respected for her depth and breadth of expertise in nonprofit management and operations. She has helped more than 200 agencies achieve their goals, is a published author, has led hundreds of workshops, and raised more than $74M. Sarah is an adjunct professor at Clark University, and also has taught at Boston University School of Social Work, Worcester State University, and U-Mass Boston. Her BA is from Colgate University; her Masters from BU School of Social Work.
